The program provides Tecpetrol leaders with knowledge and tools to help them perform their roles better, and enhance the development of their work teams. The last edition ended in March and was attended by 44 employees from the company’s different operations in Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, involving input from 42 mentors and 25 bosses.
Tecpetrol’s Summer Educational Practices, which are held in Argentina every year, ended on March 31. Almost half of the young people enrolled had to do their practice remotely. Even so, they all agreed that the experience had been extremely enriching and praised the role played by their tutors during the process. These are some of the testimonials shared by the participants.

The 19th ProPymes seminar was held today, a vital part of the Techint Group’s corporate program for the development of its value chain. The event, which for the first time in its history was held virtually due to COVID-19, was attended by key figures such as the Minister of Economy of Argentina, Martín Guzmán, the Executive President of Ternium Argentina, Martín Berardi and Paolo Rocca.
The simulators were selected as one of the top ten cases by the Persona Awards for Good Practices in Human Resources. At the closing event, after an elevator pitch, an open vote was held among all participants, and the project was voted in fourth place.

Our +diversity program aims to empower women to fulfill their talent and potential, and reaffirms our commitment to equal opportunities. Today, 42% of Tecpetrol's young professionals are women. Our objective is to develop this seedbed so that they can grow and add value from leadership roles.
The program embraces broader issues, as it tackles diversity from all angles capable of adding value to the business. It seeks to raise awareness about biases that limit the growth and contribution of certain groups of people within the organization, and to create tools to help everyone to develop as fully as possible in each area of their lives.
