The project, carried out together with the Fundación PROA, the El Tordillo Joint Venture and the Municipality was officially presented as one of the initiatives held to celebrate the city's anniversary.
The 19th ProPymes seminar was held today, a vital part of the Techint Group’s corporate program for the development of its value chain. The event, which for the first time in its history was held virtually due to COVID-19, was attended by key figures such as the Minister of Economy of Argentina, Martín Guzmán, the Executive President of Ternium Argentina, Martín Berardi and Paolo Rocca.
The simulators were selected as one of the top ten cases by the Persona Awards for Good Practices in Human Resources. At the closing event, after an elevator pitch, an open vote was held among all participants, and the project was voted in fourth place.
Paolo Rocca presided the ceremony where high school and university students from Engineering and Geosciences courses from various communities throughout the country stepped up to receive their awards in acknowledgment of their achievements. This year, the program represented an investment of over 67 million Argentine pesos.
More than 120 students and graduates joined a virtual chat given by Pablo Blasco where he presented an analysis of the management process applied at Fortín de Piedra and the paradigm shift involved in terms of how this compared with traditional industry. The event was held as part of the University Relations program that continued to reach the academic world, even during lockdown.
The first anniversary of the company’s +diversity declaration was celebrated with a virtual meeting featuring Carlos Ormachea and seven panelists, showcasing Tecpetrol’s diverse DNA by sharing some of the stories told by employees of different nationalities, genders and ages.
