Conexplo is back after four years, bringing a whole host of benefits, from knowledge sharing, lots of presentations and meetings with the chance to share knowledge, to new plans and the feeling of having learned a great deal.

Tests are being carried out in the province of Salta in Argentina at 4,100 meters above sea level, to evaluate the effectiveness of an innovative direct lithium extraction technology using brines from different salt flats. The results so far are extremely promising, and the system and processes are being continually fine-tuned, providing data that will be essential when it comes to scaling up the process.

Speaking on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the SME Observatory Foundation (Fundación Observatorio PyME - FOP), Paolo Rocca declared that, "Latin America has the opportunity to redesign the value chain, as Vaca Muerta has all the capacity needed to develop the gas industry, bolstering the entire supply chain."
