Talent that breaks through barriers
Tecpetrol has joined the Incluneu program in In Neuquén, an initiative focused on encouraging the employment of people with disabilities.
Growth, diversity, and inclusion are part of how we work at Tecpetrol. With that in mind, we’ve strengthened our commitment to workplace equity by joining the Incluneu program, an initiative headed up by the Undersecretariat for Disability of the Neuquén provincial government.
The agreement was signed at Tecpetrol’s facilities at an event attended by Martín Bengochea, Vice President of Tecpetrol's Neuquén and Vaca Muerta Basins; José Tanaka, HRBP Regional Sr. Manager; Gustavo Iril, Undersecretary of Disability for the province; and, via Zoom, Julieta Corroza, Minister of Human Development, Local Governments, and Women.
The program focuses on integrating people with disabilities into the private sector. As part of this effort, two professionals joined Tecpetrol in early March in technical and administrative roles. The agreement reflects a shared commitment: Tecpetrol will provide awareness and accessibility training, while the provincial government will offer guidance and support throughout the process.
In an industry that’s always evolving, like Oil & Gas, having different perspectives and experiences is key for growth. "It also reinforces our commitment to building a more inclusive workplace, where everyone has the opportunity to contribute on equal terms," points out Martín.
“Talent knows no barriers, and diversity makes us stronger. With this step, we’re continuing to shape a more inclusive and equitable work environment—one we’re proud to keep improving,” he adds.
Tecpetrol’s Cultural Transformation area is behind a range of initiatives to create accessible and equitable workplaces, including our +d or diversity program. Bringing in new talent through Incluneu is a clear step in that direction, reinforcing the commitment’s commitment to inclusion and diversity, opening the door to future opportunities. “This is a shared effort, and at Tecpetrol, we believe that a diverse team helps us grow,” Martín concludes.
