Register for SPE's Tech Talk on Tenaris's Net Zero Strategy
Tenaris will be presenting the action plans making up its net zero strategy as part of an online technology talk hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), on Tuesday, February 7 at 9:00 am CT.
Carolina Bengochea, Environmental Senior Director, and Lorraine Moret, Environment Senior Manager, will be outlining Tenaris's plans to address climate change. The company has announced its commitment to achieve a 30% reduction in CO2 intensity per ton of steel by 2030. The talk will be divided into two parts:
> Description of Tenaris’s process in relation to CO2 intensity.
> Tenaris's net zero strategy: an overview of its target objective and the main actions underway to achieve it.
“It is important to explain where we stand in terms of CO2 emissions, what the industry is doing to reduce them, the goal that we have set for Tenaris and the most relevant actions we’re taking,” explained Carolina Bengochea.
Tenaris will be presenting other talks about its technologies for low-carbon applications in the coming months.
