On Monday, June 29, a ventilator and biosafety elements were delivered to the medical personnel at the Hospital in Tartagal where people with COVID-19 are being treated.

The Presentation Ceremony was attended by Dr. Josefina Medrano, the Minister of Health of the Province of Salta; Mario Mimessi, Mayor of the Municipality of Tartagal; Dr. Juan López, the manager of the local hospital; and Dr. Marcelo Casanueva, who spoke on behalf of Tecpetrol.

"We are delighted to receive this equipment at a time when the numbers of COVID-19 cases are on the rise. I am doubly proud as a neighbor, and as an employee of this company,” said Gustavo Marquiegui, from the company’s Community Relations area in northwestern Argentina.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Tecpetrol has donated the following items to hospitals in Salvador Mazza, Aguaray, Gral. Mosconi and Tartagal:

• 200 l of gel alcohol.
• 1,000 N95 facemasks
• 3,000 surgical masks.
• 2,000 disposable coveralls.
• 500 closed goggles.
• 1,000 nasopharyngeal swabs, 50 sterile PS + Rayon swabs.
• 3,000 pairs of disposable gloves.
• 30,000 doses of Paracetamol 500 mg
• 1 ventilator unit
