Safety is inherent to the way we do our work. At Tecpetrol, we combine tools with behaviors to integrate safety methods and routines into our culture and daily work, training our people and implementing industry best practices.

Our management policy centers on caring for our people by strengthening leadership and commitment at different levels throughout the company. Initiatives such as prevention and risk management systems, improvement plans, safety and environmental care programs, as well as preventive observations and inspections are key tools to creating the right working environment for our people.
Sustainability Report 2021
Tecpetrol is launching its Third Global Sustainability Report, containing details about its performance in areas such as social development, environmental protection, economic growth and governance over 2021. Followed by a year of great changes in the world of energy, prompting a huge growth in demand, Argentina today continues to shoulder the sizable responsibility of fortifying the development of its resources, particularly in the context of Vaca Muerta, as it centers its efforts on gas production. This energy source is both competitive and abundant, and, as it has a lower CO2-to-energy content than other hydrocarbons, will play a key role in the energy transition.
Thanks to the resilience and determination of our employees and of our broad network of suppliers, in 2021 we were able to achieve some particularly significant milestones, and keep pace with all the changes in the way people work with speed and efficiency.
Health
The pandemic and its effects obliged us to adapt our workspaces, designing and implementing new health rules to protect the health of our employees and contractors. We developed strict COVID-19 Operational Practices which were implemented throughout Tecpetrol’s operations and offices. Our top priority is the health and safety of our people and suppliers.
