The new program supports university students in fields relevant to the development of Vaca Muerta, combining communication skills, mentoring from Tecpetrol professionals, and opportunities to gain work experience with the company.

More than a year after the waste sorting center began operating in Vaca Muerta, 60% of the municipal solid waste it receives is now recovered for reuse or recycling. The volume handled by the facility has tripled, enhancing both its environmental and community impact.

At the 20th SPE Student Chapters Annual Meeting in Neuquén, Tecpetrol leaders shared their perspectives with petroleum engineering students on subjects ranging from Vaca Muerta, professional development, artificial intelligence, and the importance of being willing to step outside your comfort zone.
