Northwest basin
The wells in the Aguarague field (Salta) are among the deepest and most complex in the country (5,200 meters deep). Lateral wells were drilled to realize their development potential using the latest technology.

Neuquén basin
Tecpetrol operates conventional and unconventional areas. The Agua Salada, Los Bastos and Medanito Sur fields produce an output of 10 Mboe/d. In Fortín de Piedra, Punta Senillosa and Los Toldos II Este, output comes to 8 Mboe/d.

Golfo de San Jorge basin
The company operates the El Tordillo, La Tapera, Puesto Quiroga, Estancia La Mariposa and José Segundo fields, among others. It is currently operating 470 wells with an oil production output of 8.3 Mbbl/d. The company is carrying out secondary and tertiary recovery projects to develop mature fields using 100 wells to inject some 110 Mbbl/d of water.

Transportation and distribution
The company has shares in the distributor Litoral Gas as well as in the transportation companies TGN and TGM, covering 8,000 kilometers of operated pipelines and 20 compressor plants throughout the country.

Vaca Muerta: Unconventional operation
Hydraulic-fractured horizontal wells are being used to develop the formation, seeking to achieve optimum spacing between the wells and fractures.
